5.2. Justification for Mandatory Use of ZDMC

Justification Description
No Nitrosamine Risk ZDMC is one of the accelerators that does not form nitrosamines. Therefore, it is preferred in medical products (gloves, catheters) and food-contact rubbers.
Low Temperature Curing In latex systems, when low-temperature vulcanization is required, it is an indispensable accelerator. Alternatives do not provide sufficient curing.
High Dispersion Predispersed (masterbatch) form ensures homogeneous mixing and process stability, making it standardized in some production lines.
Regulatory Compliance Authorities such as the EU and US FDA mandate the use of nitrosamine-free accelerators in certain products. ZDMC meets this requirement.
Medical and Hygienic Products Its use in sensitive applications such as gloves, medical hoses, and baby products is mandated by certification and customer demand.
No Odor or Discoloration It is odorless and does not cause discoloration. This is a major advantage in medical and consumer products.
