Golpanol® ALS

Description:

  • Chemical Nature: Sodium allylsulfonate

  • CAS Number: 2495-39-8

  • Chemical Formula: C3H5NaO3S

  • Physical Form: Clear, colorless to yellowish liquid

  • Concentration: 34-36%

  • pH Value: 10.5-11.5

Properties:

  • Sulfite Content: 0.05% (iodometric)

  • Storage Stability: Minimum 12 months when stored correctly

Uses:

  • Electroplating Industry: Used as a basic brightener in nickel electroplating baths at a concentration of 2-7 g/l. It improves throwing power, ductility, and brightness.

  • Decorative Applications: Enhances brightness and surface leveling in decorative nickel plating.

  • Corrosion and Scale Inhibitor: Used in water treatment chemicals to prevent corrosion and scale formation.

  • Polymerization: Can polymerize with acrylic acid, acrylamide, maleic anhydride, and sodium hypophosphite to improve properties like heat resistance and flexibility.

Lugalvan® AZP

Description:

  • Chemical Nature: Alkyl ether sulfate

  • Physical Form: Liquid

  • Concentration: Approximately 30%

Properties:

  • Solubility: Soluble in water

  • Appearance: Clear to slightly yellowish liquid

  • pH Value: Typically around neutral

Uses:

  • Electroplating Industry: Used as an additive in electroplating baths to improve the quality and uniformity of metal coatings.

  • Corrosion Inhibitor: Helps in preventing corrosion of metal surfaces during the electroplating process.

  • Detergents and Cleaners: Can be used in formulations for industrial and household cleaning products due to its surfactant properties.

 

Lutron® PVI

Description:

  • Chemical Nature: Cationic polymer

  • Physical Form: Clear, pale brown liquid

  • Concentration: 43-45%

  • Viscosity: 40-80 mPa·s

  • pH Value: 4-5 (10% solution)

Properties:

  • Solubility: Soluble in water

  • Appearance: Clear to slightly yellowish liquid

  • Iodine Colour: < 15

Uses:

  • Electronics Industry: Used in the manufacture of printed circuit boards. It enables the walls of through-holes to be homogeneously seeded with catalyst after they have been drilled, ensuring a uniform layer of electroless copper can be applied.

  • Electroplating Industry: Used to formulate brightener additives for the electroplating industry. It acts as a basic brightener in alkaline zinc electrolytes and is particularly effective for improving the adhesion of the plated metal.

Golpanol® BOZ

Description:

  • Chemical Nature: 2-Butyne-1,4-diol

  • CAS Number: 110-65-6

  • Chemical Formula: C4H6O2

  • Molecular Weight: 86.09 g/mol

  • Physical Form: Crystals

Properties:

  • Solubility: Soluble in water and aqueous solutions of acids in virtually all proportions. Also soluble in many organic solvents. Should not be dissolved in concentrated oxidizing acids as this will cause decomposition.

  • Storage Stability: Minimum 12 months when stored correctly. Should be protected from moisture, heat, and ambient air. Should not be stored at temperatures above 30 °C to prevent oxidation and thermal degradation.

Uses:

  • Electroplating Industry: Used as a high-performance top brightener in nickel electroplating baths at a concentration of 100 – 200 mg/l. It improves throwing power, ductility, and brightness.

  • Other Applications: Used in the manufacture of certain herbicides, textile additives, corrosion inhibitors, plasticizers, synthetic resins, and polyurethanes.

Korantin® TC

Description:

  • Chemical Nature: Oleylsarcosine acid

  • CAS Number: 110-25-8

  • Chemical Formula: C20H39NO3

  • Molecular Weight: 341.53 g/mol

  • Solubility: Soluble in water
