Standard Vietnamese Rubber (SVR) has several grades, each with specific properties. Here are some key properties of SVR:

General Properties

  • Dirt Content: Maximum dirt content ranges from 0.02% to 0.16% by weight, depending on the grade.

  • Ash Content: Maximum ash content is typically between 0.40% and 0.80% by weight.

  • Nitrogen Content: Maximum nitrogen content is 0.60% by weight for all grades.

  • Volatile Matter: Maximum volatile matter content is 0.80% by weight.

  • Initial Plasticity (Po): Minimum initial plasticity ranges from 30 to 35, depending on the grade.

  • Plasticity Retention Index (PRI): Minimum PRI ranges from 40 to 60, depending on the grade.

  • Mooney Viscosity: Mooney viscosity (ML 1+4 at 100°C) varies by grade, with values such as 60 ± 5 and 50 ± 5.

Specific Grades

  • SVR CV 60: Known for its high consistency and low dirt content.

  • SVR 3L: High-quality rubber with low dirt and ash content, suitable for various applications.

  • SVR 10: Commonly used in general rubber products, with moderate dirt and ash content.

These properties make SVR suitable for a wide range of applications, including tires, footwear, and industrial products.

  • SVR-3L
  • SVR-10
  • SVR-20

Standard Vietnam Rubber (SVR)

Description

Vietnam is ranked third in natural rubber export, behind Thailand and Indonesia, with 7.5% of the world’s total rubber export. Currently, China is Vietnam’s major rubber export partner with 47% of total export value.
Vietnam’s rubber cultivation area is expected to expand to 1,000,000 hectares by 2020. Its largest rubber plantation region is Mekong Delta is Vietnam’ biggest rubber plantation region with 390,000 ha, equivalent to 46% of the country’s total area; the second largest is Central Highland at 280,000 hectare (28% of Vietnam’s total area).
According to Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC), Vietnam has been leading in production capacity since 2013, at 1.7 tonnes per hectare since 2009. Vietnam’s natural rubber are mostly for exports; domestic consumption of natural rubber remains low, at 20% of the country’s total natural rubber output.
