production method is mainly divided into two routes. ① in the presence of potassium iodide, chlorodecane reacts with methylamine to obtain di-decylmethyl tertiary amine, and then Di-decylmethyl tertiary amine is placed under pressure in water and isopropanol medium, reaction with methyl chloride under heating and pressure to prepare didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride product. The reaction scheme is as follows: (2) in the presence of a catalyst, the amination reaction of N-decyl alcohol with a mixed gas of hydrogen and methylamine is carried out to obtain di-decylmethyl tertiary amine. Then add di-decyl methyl tertiary amine, a small amount of sodium carbonate and an appropriate amount of isopropanol in the pressure kettle, replace the air with nitrogen, raise the temperature to 80~90 ℃, and inject methyl chloride at a pressure of 0.3~0.5MPa, reaction 3~4H to obtain BIS decyl dimethyl ammonium chloride products.
