5. PRODUCTION PROCESS

Stage Description

3. Leaching Roasted product is leached with water to extract sodium chromate

5. Reaction 2 Na₂CrO₄ + H₂SO₄ → Na₂Cr₂O₇ + Na₂SO₄ + H₂O
6. Crystallization Sodium dichromate crystallizes (sodium sulfate remains in solution)

Reaction Equations:
