SECTION 13: CRITICAL WARNINGS AND BEST PRACTICES

CRITICAL WARNINGS:

Freeze Sensitivity: Product freezes below 5°C; freeze-thaw cycles destabilize the product. Store above 5°C.

Cationic Product Incompatibility: Contact with cationic products causes coagulation (precipitation). Do not use in the same bath with cationic products.

Strong Acidic Catalysts: Strong acidic catalysts destabilize the product.

Pigmented Application Stirring: Continuous stirring is required to prevent pigment settling. Bath temperature must not exceed 35°C.

Arkophob® XLR liq Usage: Arkophob® XLR liq solutions must be used within 4 hours. Avoid long machine stoppage times.

Curing Time: Proper curing (170-175°C, 45 seconds) is essential for good washing and rubbing fastness.

pH Adjustment: When used with Fixapret® ECO liq c, adjust bath pH to 5.0 with acetic acid.

BEST PRACTICE RECOMMENDATIONS:

Storage: Store at 5°C to 30°C, protected from freezing, in original sealed packaging.

Application: Apply by pad method at room temperature. Control padding pick-up ratio.

Stirring: Ensure continuous stirring for pigmented applications. Keep bath temperature below 35°C.

Curing: Achieve optimum fastness values with curing at 170-175°C for 45 seconds.

Machine Downtime: Minimize machine stoppage times, especially when using Arkophob® XLR liq.

pH Control: Adjust pH to 5.0 when using with Fixapret® ECO liq c.

Safety: Use PPE (gloves, goggles).
