SECTION 15: CRITICAL WARNINGS AND BEST PRACTICES

CRITICAL WARNINGS:

Freeze Sensitivity: Product is NOT freeze-resistant. Freezing destroys the product and causes coagulation. Store above 2°C.

Cationic Product Incompatibility: Contact with cationic products causes coagulation (precipitation). Do not use in the same recipe with cationic products.

Drying Temperature: Drying temperature should not exceed 120°C. Higher temperatures may cause premature crosslinking and poor results.

Fixation: Proper heat fixation (150-180°C) is essential for crosslinking and achieving optimum fastness.

Stirring: Product must be stirred thoroughly before use. Pigment pastes must be stirred continuously to prevent pigment settling.

pH Adjustment: Adjust stock thickener pH to 8.5 with ammonia for optimum performance.

BEST PRACTICE RECOMMENDATIONS:

Storage: Store at 2°C to 40°C, protected from freezing, in original sealed packaging.

Preparation: Prepare stock thickener by adding components in the correct order with thorough stirring.

Printing: Apply printing paste using standard pigment printing equipment. Ensure uniform application.

Drying: Dry printed fabric at temperatures not exceeding 120°C.

Fixation: Cure at recommended temperature and time (150°C/5 min, 170°C/3 min, or 180°C/1 min).

Synthetic Fibers: Add Luprintol® Additive RM liq (3-5 g/kg) for improved performance on synthetic fibers.

Cleaning: Clean printing equipment thoroughly after use.

Safety: Use PPE (gloves, goggles).
