SECTION 11: CRITICAL WARNINGS AND BEST PRACTICES

CRITICAL WARNINGS:

Formaldehyde-Free: Product does not contain formaldehyde (below limits of detection).

Nonionic Character: Compatible with nonionic, anionic, and cationic products, offering formulation flexibility.

Frost Resistance: Product is not sensitive to frost, but storage at 0-40°C is recommended for optimum stability.

Curing Conditions: For optimum performance, curing is essential. Recommended conditions vary by temperature/time.

Sensitization Risk: Contains isothiazolinone preservatives (CMIT/MIT) that may produce allergic reactions.

Dosage Control: Higher amounts can lead to hardening of handle and shade impairment; pretrials are recommended.

BEST PRACTICE RECOMMENDATIONS:

Storage: Store at 0-40°C in original tightly closed containers. Keep away from foodstuffs.

Preparation: Dilute with cold water at least 1:1 before adding to finishing bath.

Application: Use padding process for best results. Ensure thorough drying and proper curing.

Coating: Use with Appretan products at recommended ratios (200-400 parts Appretan to 6-20 parts crosslinker).

Pigment Printing: Add 10-15 g/kg to pigment printing pastes for improved rubbing fastness.

Pretrials: Due to potential shade shift and handle effects, pretrials are strongly recommended.

Safety: Use appropriate PPE (protective gloves, goggles) during handling.
