CRITICAL WARNINGS:

PFOA-Free Formulation: Nuva® N2155 is based on C6 fluorochemistry, supporting the transition away from long-chain fluorotelomer products that may contain PFOA at trace levels .

Performance Maintenance: Achieving maximum oil and water repellency requires proper curing conditions. Maintain bath pH between 3-7; if pH is above 8.0, adjust with acetic acid.

Processing Stability: The product is non-sensitive to compatibility with other finishing chemicals .

Fabric Breathability: Application of Nuva® N2155 does not negatively impact fabric breathability .

BEST PRACTICE RECOMMENDATIONS:

  1. Pretrial: Conduct preliminary trials for each specific fabric and application.

  2. Bath pH: Maintain pH between 3-7; adjust with acetic acid if necessary.

  3. Curing: Ensure proper curing temperature and time (150-170°C for 0.5-2 minutes for polyester/nylon).

  4. Compatibility: Pre-test compatibility with other finishing auxiliaries.

  5. Application: Use padding, impregnation, coating, or spray methods as appropriate.

  6. Storage: Store at 5-35°C, protected from freezing, in original sealed containers.
