pH SENSITIVITY NOTE:

  • pH 6.0-8.5: Fully soluble, maximum viscosity

  • pH 5.0-6.0: Partially soluble, reduced viscosity

  • pH 4.0-5.0: Low solubility, very low viscosity

  • pH <4.0: Insoluble, precipitates (CMC acid formation)

Solution Preparation: Always maintain pH >6 for complete dissolution; Adjust pH with sodium hydroxide if necessary.
